By Graham Daniels, Managing Director
A few weeks ago, myself and Dr Simon Atkins attended a supply chain management event run by Briggs & Forrester at the Hilton Metropole Hotel, NEC Birmingham.
TWC have been supplying services to their Building Services Maintenance Division for a relatively recent period of 3 years compared to many of our clients, some going back over 25 years.
The evening was hosted by the Chairman of the group with each division talking about their specific areas and how they see the marketplace being driven. Much appeared to revolve around sustainability which is great for everyone’s future.
During the presentation they were handing out awards to best suppliers such as Wolseley Pipe Centres and other very large businesses.
Then the shock of my life…
It was announced that TWC had been awarded the Best Sub Contractor Award by Briggs & Forrester Building Services Maintenance. See the Briggs & Forrester LinkedIn announcement here.
In such a short time Briggs & Forrester appreciate how TWC operate and the level of service and commitment we bring to the table. That is why they are happy to partnership with TWC (Services) Ltd. We were told that all areas of their business voted for us.
The comments were amazing, praising us for the service at all levels, from our trained people that go to site, to our office staff for documentation control to the contract managers and dare I say it even the management of the company who make sure we function as a team.
What an honor to be recognized for maintaining our standards during these difficult Covid times. Believe me as many of you are aware, it is not easy but communication is key.
I would like to say a big thank you to Briggs & Forrester, to all of our customers and suppliers for trusting us and working with us to achieve the best results for the end users, but most of all our Super Staff that step up to the plate time and time again.
