Experience
Your Responsibilities
All Duty Holders and Premises holders are required to prevent or control the risks from Legionella in water systems on their sites. Also, see the HSE Guidance.
Risk Assessments
The first stage of compliance is to complete a Legionella risk assessment. Our team of City & Guilds qualified surveyors are experienced in carrying out risk assessments for all types of water systems, including NHS sites and cooling towers. Our reports are easy to understand, free of jargon and clearly list actions required so they can be easily transferred to your H&S systems.
Monitoring Your Water Systems
You will need to establish a scheme of control that ensure your water systems are monitored as per the HSG274 Guidance’s. Our consultants will help you design you control scheme to ensure all monitoring actions, inspections, locations are identified. We can then support you in carrying out these actions on site, including temperature monitoring, asset inspections, remote sensors, sampling and water treatment.
Training
All employers are required to provide employees involved with Legionella management with suitable and sufficient information, instruction, and training. This includes the responsible person, employees taking temperatures, carrying out flushing and other activities in the legionella control scheme. TWC can provide you with this training either online or in person on site. We also provide FREE online legionella awareness training for ALL charities.
