Heating & Chilled Water Systems

Closed systems, such as heating or chilled water systems are prone to corrosion, scaling, bacterial growth and fouling that impairs flow, heat transfer, blocks valves and causes leaks. Water treatment, Water Quality and mechanical aspects of the systems, such as strainers, need to be maintained and regularly serviced. See BSRIA BG50 for further information

PPM Services

TWC provide PPM services as per BG50 and SFG20 best industry practice. These include regular checks of your water quality, treatment levels, bacterial levels and servicing mechanical aspects of the system, including strainers, pumps and RPZ valves. See our product and services sheet. Microbiological and chemical sample analysis is UKAS accredited BS8552:2012.

Investigations

TWC use corrosion coupons, thorough sampling and other means to fully investigate your closed water systems to determine route causes of issues that occur and then provide easy to understand jargon free reports that provide a route to re-establishing your systems optimal performance.

Remedial Services

TWC engineers and plumbers can carry out remedial services, including balanced and dynamic flushes to BG29 requirements, mechanical repairs and biocide treatments to ensure your system is brought back to optimal performance. Our plumbers can fit and replace dosing pots.
